Apple TV update 2015 set to replace television idea

While Apple has offered consumers its set top box the company has for years been rumored to be working on an actual television that would change the way we view content for ever. Now though an Apple TV update in 2015 is set to replace television idea.

It has long been rumored that Apple were working on an iTV device that would revolutionize the way consumers view content, but now sources are claiming that the company’s executives have decided they couldn’t do much to innovate an already packed TV hardware market.

The company has supposedly been working on TV sets featuring 4K resolutions along with built in cameras and sensors to provide some sort of FaceTime for TV sets. It has been claimed that the program hasn’t been completely shelved but employees have been moved to different areas.

Other ideas that Apple has allegedly been looking at include transparent displays that were powered by lasers, while this was canned due to concerns surrounding picture quality and power efficiency. Instead Apple is set to unveil a new version of its set top streamer at next month’s WWDC event, which will include a faster processor, redesigned remote control, and a dedicated App Store with Siri integration.
