Classic Mobile Phones get 2014 makeover

The mobile devices that we carry around with us nowadays have come a long way in the last few years, and while Apple maybe losing its way a little in recent times the company were responsible for giving the industry the boost it needed back in 2007 with the release of the original iPhone.

There was a time that other companies away from Apple and Samsung were the leading lights in the mobile world, which included the likes of Nokia and Ericsson. Today courtesy of the guys over at two classic handsets from the two companies have been given a modern day make over.

Many of you will be old enough to remember the iconic Nokia 3310, I still have a working example tucked away in a draw, but as you can see on this page the phone has been treated to a modern concept design equipped with a touchscreen display.

The same team have also given a similar treatment to the Ericsson T28 flip phone, which also has a touchscreen display. Did you own either one of these handsets? What do you think of these new designs?
