EE Power Bar fire risk causes full recall

While hover boards have been making all the headlines in the last week or so a new problem has emerged that will disappoint many mobile users as a fire risk causes a full EE Power Bar recall.

Customers of EE have been treated to a free Power Bar to provide them an extra battery boost for their mobile devices, but now the carrier is asking customers to stop using them immediately and return them to their local EE store.

According to the company a few of the bars have overheated causing a fire risk, and comes after EE recalled some back in the summer that had a model number of E1-06, but it seems the problem is more widespread.

Customers will get a £20 voucher in return that works out the same value as the product, but if you are unable to get to an EE store , it’s recommended you call 0800 079 0305 for further information on what to do.
