Galaxy Note 8 images leaked as release date nears
Last year Samsung launched the ill-fated Note 7 that won rave reviews following its initial release but issues with the quality of the batteries killed the handset off. We are now nearing the time for this year’s model as some possible Samsung Galaxy Note 8 images are leaked as a release date nears.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have won many plaudits since they were released and as usual the rumour mill has been going into overdrive as we get closer to the launch of the Galaxy Note 8. The images on this page are from a source that previously correctly revealed the S8 design.
Various rumours have hinted at a 6.3-inch Quad HD Infinity Display with a ratio of 3840×2160 with a 2:1 ratio meaning the handset will be taller but much easier to hold over last year’s model despite a larger screen.
Other reliable sources have suggested the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a dual camera set up pairing a 12-megapixel wide angle sensor with a 13-megapixel telephoto one with dual optical image stabilization, and a 3x optical zoom.
The handset is likely to be powered by the new Samsung Exynos 8995 processor paired with a possible 6GB of RAM, with storage coming in at 64GB and 128GB options with SD card support.
Of course like any upcoming smartphone launch we have to take these rumours with a pinch of salt, but many of these sources have proved reliable before.
