Galaxy S5 and others promised Lollipop update fix

It is not unusual for modern smartphones to experience some minor issues when they are treated to an update to the operating system, and that has certainly been the case for a number of Samsung devices recently, but the company has promised a Galaxy S5 Lollipop update fix along with other devices.

We have already reported about some Wi-Fi connection issues with the Galaxy S5 since updating to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but a recent tweet from Samsung UK has revealed that the company’s engineers are currently working on some minor updates for a number of devices.

The company has also suggested that some users may find it beneficial to perform a factory reset of their device, but you are advised to back up your entire content first. Samsung also suggests syncing to your PC via the Samsung KIES app.

There is no information regarding when these updates will begin rolling out to end users but you can keep an eye on things by checking for firmware updates via your device.
