Galaxy S8 price teased ahead of release
In a few days time Samsung will be unveiling their latest flagship smartphone to the world at two events taking place in London and New York, and before then it seems the Galaxy S8 price has been teased ahead of release.
Like any major smartphone launch many of the details of the device leak out before the official unveiling, and the S8 is no different. We have already heard many details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, and now a reliable source has revealed the colour options on the handset upon launch and the price.
As you can see from this image it seems the S8 will launch in only three basic colours that include Arctic Silver, Black Sky, and Orchid Grey. Of course Samsung normally brings more colour options to the table during the lifespan of its smartphones.
The same source has also claimed some pricing for the handsets with the S8 costing €799, and the larger S8+ coming in at €899. At current conversions rates this comes in at around £692 and £779 respectively, and of course these prices will be for unlocked versions of the handsets.
This represents around a €100 price increase over last year’s offering s but there had been previous rumours the handsets would be priced even higher. The base model for both versions of the Galaxy S8 is believed to come with 64GB of internal storage which of course can be expanded further thanks to microSD card support.
We will know for sure later this week what the Samsung Galaxy S8 will offer those looking to upgrade their smartphone in 2017.
