HTC One M8i rumoured to be coming

If you are looking to upgrade to a new handset this year as usual there will be plenty of decent hardware to choose from, and today we have news of a new version of HTC’s current flagship the One M8.

While a lot of focus will be on the HTC One M9 reliable tipster @upleaks has provided us with some information regarding a handset being called the HTC One M8i, which seems to be a new version of the company’s current flagship handset.

The new model is listed to have a 5-inch Full HD display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor that has four cores clocked at 1.7GHz, and four cores running at 1.0GHz. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card.

Camera wise there is rumoured to be a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel Duo camera set up on the back with dual LED flash, while around the front is supposedly a 5-megapixel unit.

This new device is also being tipped to come in the same colour options as the current HTC One M8, and we can expect the device to be unveiled officially at the upcoming MWC 2015 event next month.
