HTC One specs and UK SIM free price
HTC helped get the Android bandwagon underway a couple of years ago but have recently lost their way and fallen behind the likes of Samsung for market share. The company is looking to bounce back and have announced the HTC One that has some great specs, and we now have a UK SIM free price for you.
The new smartphone will be released around mid-March and will come featuring a 4.7-inch Super LCD 1080p touchscreen display, and under the hood is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. This is paired with 2GB of RAM running the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system along with the HTC Sense 5.0 UI.
Other features include a custom camera that is being called Ultrapixel, with the sensor actually 4-megapixels, 2.1-megapixel front facing shooter, Wi-Fi a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 2300 mAh battery, and front facing stereo speakers. Storage wise it will come in either 32GB or 64GB options that unfortunately can’t be expanded further.
The handset has already gone up for pre-order via online retailer Clove and is priced at £510 including VAT, while rival retailer Expansys has the device available for £519.99 in both colour options, which is either Black or Silver.
While the new HTC smartphone looks the part spec wise it is due to release around the same time that Samsung are expected to announce the Galaxy S4, which could quite easily steal some of the HTC One’s thunder at launch.
