iPhone 7 release rumors may cause upset

It wouldn’t be normal if the smartphone world wasn’t treated to months of speculation regarding the next big release from Apple, and now the latest iPhone 7 rumors may cause some upset if they turn out to be accurate.

It is likely to be many months yet before Tim Cook takes to the stage with the next big release from Apple in the smartphone market with the iPhone 7, but a new claim originating out of Japan is suggesting that the company is going to do away with a very popular feature.

Claims are suggesting that the iPhone 7 release will bring a handset that doesn’t feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, and this according to the rumor is to make the handset even thinner. This is claimed will make the iPhone 7 1mm thinner than the iPhone 6s.

If this is true it will mean that future owners of the iPhone 7 will only be able to listen to their media content via Bluetooth headphones or ones with a Lightening connector. The report also claims that the company will supply EarPods equipped with a suitable connector.

Of course we will have to wait and see the official unveiling of the iPhone 7 or wait until someone leaves an example behind in a bar before we know what the device will bring to the table.
