iTunes bug reported with fix promise made

Many of the services and gadgets we now use have problems from time to time that will need the company concerned working on a solution, now an iTunes bug is being reported with a promise of a fix being made by Apple.

Some iTunes users have reported that music files stored on their computer have been removed without their consent, and now Apple has responded to the claims stating they are aware of the issue affecting “an extremely small number” of users.

The company continued by stating that they are “taking these reports seriously as we know how important music is to our customers and our teams are focused on identifying the cause”.

Apple is promising an iTunes update next week that should prevent the mass deletion of a user’s music library stored locally while the company looks deeper to find if a software bug is responsible.
