Leaked Galaxy S4 specs & design scrutinized

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is regarded by many as the best smartphone of 2012, therefore there’s high-expectations for its successor – so what can we expected from the next instalment? Well if the Samsung S4 specs match what we’ve just seen in a rumored leaked render we are in for a treat!

We’ve added the supposedly leaked render further down this post, before we start talking about the impressive internals we must point out that the physical design seems to merge the squared-design of the Galaxy S2 with the curvaceous look of the S3 also we can’t help but notice that there is no physical button on the face of the phone.

Now let’s talk about specs, firstly the display is said improve on the S3’s 4.8-inch diagonal by upping it to 5-inch (Full HD / 1080p) Super AMOLED+ panel which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass– neat eh? If you’re worried about performance hardware you’ll be happy to see that the S4 is said to utilize the A15 Exynos 5450 CPU which is said to boast four 2.0GHz cores which are backed up by ARM’s Mali T658 GPU, 2GB of RAM and storage options of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

These days even mid-end smartphones offer half-decent cameras, well the rumoured S4 camera specs do not disappoint, there’s talk of a 13 MP rear sensor along with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera ideal for video calls.

Other things worth a mention include it’s out-of-the-box Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which will complimented with TouchWiz, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, front speakers and a dedicated camera button – all in all I’ll think you’ll agree that if the specs turn out to be genuine the Samsung Galaxy IV.

Would you but the S4 based on what you’ve just read and seen? Remember this may turn out to differ from the official specs and design!
