More details of Galaxy S8 emerge ahead of release

We are at that time of year when the Internet is awash with rumours and speculation about the big smartphone releases, and after earlier hearing about a possible iPhone 8 feature we now have more details of the Samsung Galaxy S8 that have emerged.

There has already been plenty of speculation about the specs for the Galaxy S8, and now a previously very reliable source has revealed a possible logo for one of the versions of the new handset.

We have heard that the Galaxy S8 will this year only come with a curved display but in two sizes unlike the S6 and S7 that both featured Edge versions. The larger version of the Galaxy S8 will supposedly be called the Galaxy S8 Plus.

It has been the norm for smartphone manufacturers to add Plus on the end for the larger model and it looks like the S8 will continue this trend. The source reaffirmed that the Galaxy S8 will be launched on the 29th of next month with a release by the 21st of April.
