Motorola Moto Z2 Play released for Vodafone UK
Back in 2013 smartphone giant Motorola raised the stakes in the budget end of the Android handset market with the arrival of the Moto G, and have since increased their portfolio with a number of worthy devices. Today we have news of the Motorola Moto Z2 Play being released for Vodafone UK customers to enjoy.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is now available to customers of UK carrier Vodafone from just £28 per month with no upfront cost, which includes unlimited texts and minutes with 1GB of data. At £40 per month users can enjoy the same minutes and texts, but with 8GB of data that also includes a choice of Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium, or NOW TV for 24 months.
This handsets stand out feature is the fact that it’s a modular phone that allows owners to add extra features via accessories called Moto Mods, which for example can add extra battery life, while another provides wireless charging.
You get a JBL speaker Mod provided in the box when buying the Z2 Play, and there’s even a Mod that includes a projector, enabling you to project a film from your phone onto a wall. The Z2 Play features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 offering 401ppi.
This is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm MSM8953-Pro Snapdragon 626 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Internal storage comes in at 64GB but this is expandable further via microSD card. Camera wise we have a 12-megapixel unit on the rear with laser autofocus and dual LED flash, and around the front is a 5-megapixel shooter again with a dual LED flash.
