NAD reveals C 588 turntable

Hi-Fi purists will be well aware of the company, NAD Electronics, which has provided a whole host of quality products to the market especially their famed integrated amplifiers, and now as the company celebrates its 45 anniversary NAD reveals the C588 turntable.

Vinyl sales have seen a strong resurgence in recent years with even supermarkets selling the albums along with budget turntables to play them on. Obviously these types of units won’t offer the high end sound quality many audiophiles crave that will stick to quality products from the likes of Rega or Linn among others.

Now though NAD has re-entered the fray with the C 588 that offers a belt-drive turntable with an Ortofon OM10 cartridge as standard. The new deck builds on the entry level C 556 with a heavyweight glass platter and 22cm tonearm.

The NAD C588 will be available next month priced at £449.
