Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 UK price cut

In the last few years we have seen quite an increase in screen sizes on smartphones, at least on the Android platform. Many owners find a larger screen device the perfect solution than carrying around a handset and a tablet PC. Now today we have news of a Samsung Galaxy 6.3 price cut in the UK.

Samsung got the ball rolling with the larger sized phablet device with the launch of the original Galaxy Note, and in a few days time will be unveiling the Note 4. In the meantime we have news of the midrange Galaxy Mega 6.3 handset that has seen a price cut for the unlocked version in the UK.

Online retailer Clove will now sell you the handset for £240, and for your money you will get a device with a huge 6.3-inch 720p display with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.7Ghz.

This is paired with 1.5GB of RAM running the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, while for taking photos you are supplied with an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of 1080p video capture at 30fps, and around the front is a 1.9-megapixel shooter.

Internal storage comes in at 8GB but this is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card and a 3,200 mAh battery keeps everything switched on.

Do you think this latest price cut offers value for money?
