Samsung Galaxy S4 US release disappointment possible
Such is Samsung’s footing in the smartphone world now the company gets a lot of press coverage leading up to the launch of its next flagship devices, which was once only reserved for the Apple iPhone. There are now reports suggesting when the release date will be for the Samsung Galaxy S4 that could mean some disappointment for consumers in the US.
Only yesterday we saw a render of the handset along with the rumoured specifications of the device, and now reports are suggesting that Samsung will be holding an event on March 15th to showcase the Galaxy S4. Currently it is not known where this event will be but last year’s unveiling for the Galaxy S3 was held in London, England.
The handset is claimed to be released from the beginning of April in select European countries with the whole of the region getting access by the end of the month. While Android fans in the US and Australia will have to wait until either May or June to get hold of the smartphone.
Official accessories that are thought to be coming with the handset that includes the wireless charging kit are expected to arrive around the middle of April, and to recap the handset is rumoured to be using a 4.99-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display.
This is set to have the eight core Exynos Octa 5 CPU under the hood together with 2GB of RAM, and camera wise there may be a 13MP rear facing shooter capable of 1080p video capture at 30fps. Around the front is claimed to be 2MP unit capable of 720p video capture, and the handset will be running the latest version of Android Jelly Bean firmware.
