Samsung Galaxy S6 S View Cover scratch issue

Last month it emerged that some owners of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were reporting problems with the official Clear View Cover, but we now have a report looking at the Samsung Galaxy S6 S View Cover screen scratch issue.

The image that you can see on this page is of my Samsung Galaxy S6 which I have been really pleased with since I’ve owned the handset. We looked at some cases for the device and I started to use the official Samsung S View Cover for the device in tandem with a screen protector.

Now if you look closely you may be able to just make out some white scratches on the surface of the screen protector which must have been caused by the S View Cover where the actual display for the case meets the screen. These do look worse when looked at with the naked eye but we have tried to capture them as best we could with a DSLR.

I have since stopped using the case and changed to something different, and I have also noticed that there is a lot less dust and other rubbish collecting around the handset since I changed the case.

I am just glad that I had a screen protector on the device otherwise those light scratches could have been on the display despite it having Gorilla Glass 4.

Have you had this issue with a Samsung S View Cover?
