Sometimes electrical items can develop problems that can be due to a manufacturing defect, and today we have some important news to bring you as it has been revealed that a Sony Vaio battery problem has led to a recall for 2016.

Today we have news of an important recall regarding some Sony Vaio laptop batteries that could overheat and then lead to fires or burning. This has led to the company recalling the problematic batteries and offering a replacement.

The affected model is the VGP-BPS26 battery pack and for owners who think they may own one of the affected models can visit Sony’s website here. You will be required to fill out some information such as numbers found on the affected unit as well as the laptop itself.
