SwiftKey Keyboard update released

For years owners of Android smartphones have been able to install and use third party keyboards with iOS users recently joining the party. One of the most popular applications is the SwiftKey Keyboard offering that has just seen a new update released.

There are a number of keyboard applications available to smartphone users on the Android platform and the SwiftKey app has recently received a welcome update for the Android version. Users can now change the keypress sounds as they type out messages, emails, notes, etc.

This update is being rolled out in many regions with a number of different sounds to choose from within the application settings. To change the sound open the application and choose the Typing option, and from here select Sound & Vibration to choose the sound option you want to use.

The developer has now made all of the downloadable themes to further customize your SwiftKey keyboard free along with some performance improvements. At the time of writing the iOS version has yet to receive this update. SwiftKey Keyboard is available free worldwide on Google Play or the App Store.
