Three UK HTC One X Jelly Bean update released
The Android platform is running a number of different versions of the operating system, and if you are a user it’s always nice when your handset is treated to a new firmware that brings a number of extra features to the handset. We now have news that Three UK has released the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X.
A friend of ours has just told us the Android update has hit his device via an over the air update, and the new operating system is sized at 360MB. So as the file size is quite large users are recommended to update their HTC One X while connected to a stable Wi-Fi connection.
They will also need to make sure that the battery has plenty of charge left and all of their personal data is backed up. It has to be remembered though the update like any other Jelly Bean firmware rollout, will see a staggered release so don’t be too worried if it hasn’t hit your handset yet.
You can check for it manually by going to the settings option and selecting About phone, before choosing software updates and check now. The update brings some nice new features to the handset including Google Now and a number of other enhancements and extra’s.
Has your HTC One X got Jelly Bean yet? If so have there been any problems since the update?
